Afropop superstar Mr Eazi shares “Fefe Ne Fefe,” the latest single from his debut album, The Evil Genius, set for release on October 27.
“Fefe Ne Fefe” is one of several tracks that Mr Eazi recorded in Kokrobite, Ghana, with producer Kel-P.
The uptempo track with a cool highlife rhythm and smooth sax lead transports listeners to a retro vision of West Africa.
“Fefe Ne Fefe” appears on the album as the fourth in a five-track suite of love songs. The title, translating to “beauty is beautiful,” comes from an Akan proverb.
The album The Evil Genius was recorded across multiple locations including Benin, Rwanda, Ghana, Nigeria, London, Los Angeles, and New York City.
It features some of Mr Eazi’s most personal work, exploring love, betrayal, loneliness, and family through three distinctive acts.
